A bit of our history

Over the years

1965

The beginning

José Cuquerella Marrades founded Lácteos Cuquerella SL and planted the seed in Manchegan lands. His vision gave rise to a cheesemaking tradition that, over time, became synonymous with quality, flavor, and family commitment.

1970

In a village of La Mancha

At just 20 years old, José Cuquerella Estarelles arrived in Manzanares and built a factory from scratch. Four decades of effort and passion have brought prestige to our cheeses, making them a national benchmark. His legacy can still be savored in every piece.

2000

Generational succession

Irene and Joaquín Cuquerella have taken over the reins. Without losing the family essence, they embrace innovation and international expansion. A new chapter begins: more modern, more global, yet equally committed to quality and tradition.

2012

New factory

Greater capacity, improved processes, the same artisanal spirit. Today, we produce 1,800 tons per year, exporting 70%. A leap forward that honors our roots while looking to the future.
